Day 28- Wraith Eclipse

I may have listened to Caliborn: Enter from Homestuck while illustrating this. A first-attempted illustration of a major event on Hoep. Also with a character journaling about the event to give more perspective;

I still can’t believe I ever saw the yearly eclipse event as so mundane. Perhaps the fact my family and culture finding the event rather unneeded to be acknowledged has been a primary reason. Perhaps it’s the fact that I always seemed to be camped up in the study library for literary research during its wake during the odd weeks of November. Regardless, to see it with the Fallen Slayers from the mountains gave me fresh eyes of how chilling the spectacle truly is;

Our moon eclipsing from it’s familiar yellow green into a shadow of venomous red as our world begins to overlap the Dreaming Realm, only for it to finally have the illusion of the moon collapsing upon itself to  open into a void of a black hole that seems to devour the sky, threatening to also devour the land it shines upon.
