so for the research portion of this assignment, I have some question that would be really helpful if you could answer for me! your replies can be as casual or in-depth as you want, and feel free to talk about anything else that comes to mind! thank you so much you guys, I really appreciate it! message/reply/reblog with any questions or responses or comments! thanks!

1. Do you think we can be grouped into one big “tumblr 1d community”, or do you think there are too many sub-groups and too many people with different views? (i.e. larries, antis, ot4 etc.)

2. What do you think our unspoken rules are?

The list that I came up with is: “maintain a safe place for everyone, defend and set straight anyone who insults another fan or one of the boys, and to not forget the reasons why we’re here.” Do you agree with these/would you change them?

1) Why did you choose your URL? um i honestly can’t remember tbh.... oh oK STORY TIME so before, i had ‘sweatrluke’ as my url and i had ‘cuddlingscalum’ saved back when i was going through a calum phase or whatever i forgot how i came up with it anyway while i was ‘sweatrluke’ i was like “what if people don’t think ‘sweater’ when they see ‘sweatr’ and they actually see ‘sweat’ and so i decided i needed to change it and i thought ‘cuddlingscalum’ and it’s like actually pronounceable and stuff so i was like sure. i was going to change it bc i have a bunch of other urls saved (hmu if you want one btw) but i’ve been ‘cuddlingscalum’ for a while now and yeah idk.

2) What is your middle name? one of my middle names is masumi (it’s japanese)

3) If you could own a fairytale/fictional pet, what would it be? UM A UNICORN??????? actually it’d probably be a pegasus bc i crave the ability to fly.

4) Favorite colour? purple, but i also really love maroon and different shades of red. i also really like blue rn?????? 

5) Favorite song? for the past few days i’ve literally been listening to ‘badlands’ on repeat (featuring ‘coming down’, ‘haunting’, ‘gasoline’, ‘control’, ‘young god’) but today i was really into ‘love myself’ by hailee steinfeld bc it makes me feel really empowered lol (ACTUALLY THO THOSE FEW SONGS OF BADLANDS I MENTIONED MAKE ME FEEL SO EMPOWERED TOO IT ACTUALLY MAKES ME FEEL RLLY BADASS TBH LIKE CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS)

6) What are your top five fandoms? um one direction, taylor swift, doctor who, 5sos, halsey 

7) Why do you enjoy Tumblr? i love seeing everything that people create like edits and fanart and stories and just seeing anything and everything people make. as well, i really like seeing everyone interact and how we make friends and how the people i follow are nice and amazing and actually feel incredibly approachable and yeah.
