25. a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read
When I first entered Tumblr the two fics that caught me by my balls were @kinktae's Bitchin' and @curly-bangtan's Heatwave, and working my way through this hellsite I found @dark-muse-iris 's Transference and @sugaurora's Éffleurer - and I was cemented in this site till death do us apart.
I know this has not QUITE answered the questions but honestly I can't pick ONE fav fic and ONE rec LOL it's just so hard having all this talent on this website 😩

jen, i forgot to tell you earlier since i was getting ready for work ksndkjskd but when in porto, try their traditional dish called francesinha. it costs around 8/9 euros and comes with french fries too!! i always order it with a very famous brazilian soft drink called guarana antarctica... it's pretty sweet so i think it's a match hehe

i only visited porto during the day and it's my favorite place. you have to visit baixa do porto. if you go to the city by train, you have to go on a long walk down to the riverbank, but it's worth it. there's also a cable car on the other side of the river, and a lot of boat tours too. if you drink alcohol, try the vinho do porto (i don't drink but it's famous here).
this is as far as i can remember but i'm sure there are a lot more things to do both in lisbon or porto. i hope you have fun jen!! 💞
for some reason i feel like i’m just gonna fall in love with porto. my friends went to portugal last year and they were only in porto for a day too, meanwhile i’ll be there for almost 3 full days which idk hopefully won’t be too much hahhah
oh! and i just remembered, what’s the weather situation like in portugal? i thought it was similar to italy and spain aka hot as hell and those places are nearly 40 degrees rn 😭 but i checked the weather forecast and it only says lisbon & porto are around 25-27 degrees which isn’t that much hotter than central and eastern europe so idk if it feels different there 🤔

in lisbon, during the day you can visit belém and one of the many viewpoints of the city. i visited the santa luzia viewpoint, near to the panteão nacional and são jorge castle (you can visit the castle too, it's amazing, but you have to pay depending on the day you're going to visit). belem it's on the other side of the city but it's still a good walk with an amazing view of the 25th of April bridge (i had lunch there but I can't remember the restaurant, but the price is very similar if you're not opting for mc donald's). there's also parque das nações, where there's a cable car, an aquarium, a bunch of restaurants (i think there's korean restaurants there too); it's a good walk through the shore.
during the night, you can go to bairro alto if you like to see people and go to crowded bars (not my scene but there are still the rooftops, a much calmer option, and the view is amazing). i usually eat at "hamburgueria do bairro" (it has delicious french fries). there's a 50's themed diner at parque das nações too (the strawberry milkshake is delicious).
