Tabletop joined and glued with 2k epoxy. The Bubinga didn‘t take to wood glue too well. The surface is handplaned on everything. Bubinga polishes up really well with a handplane! Base for the table also glued up and hanplaned. Time for some more joinery!

This is the convex sole kanna I made with another blade I had laying around. The dai is recycled from a cracked dai that was not salvageable. The closer is made of Cocobolo.

Erstaunlich was man mit einer Oberfräse und einem Elektrohobel einfach und schnell erledigen kann. Hier (links) die Verwandlung einer einfachen Dachlatte in einen Handlauf. Zeitaufwand etwa 10 Minuten. Schmirgeln hätte erheblich länger gedauert. Wir hätten uns solche Werkzeuge schon viel früher zulegen sollen.
