Here is my costume for the Hobbit birthday party. I grabbed the most hobbitish looking clothing I could find in my closet, added some braids and greenery to my hair. Having been able to only bring ONE suitcase with me when we traveled here to Canada, I don't have many of my belongings yet. They sit in storage waiting for me to return and bring them at some point. Until then I make due with what I have and slowly find new treasures. It has been a different kind of experience since we arrived at the end of November. Winter was already in full swing and didn't leave until May. Then, skipping spring, went straight into summer! Everyone keeps telling me that this is not "normal" Canadian weather but this is all I know so far. I really love spring and fall! They are my favorite seasons of the year and hope I will have that here.
