I’m a little upset we never got the Falcon or Komodo dragon Half-Mutes they just had to make the other two choices some of the most awesome half animal abilities ever.
But like what if there was an AU where Liam survived thanks to some miracle Mute Surgeon (hey we have physicist wolves, immortals bugs, and mind control monkeys so it’s not out there and Liam looks like he died of crossbow so) and only after Song going Mega does he make his way back. While he can’t find anyone else he does learn about Kipo from the security footage. He grabs the research for making half mutes and takes the other two samples and maybe some other and makes other half mutes.
As for where he’s been. He probably found a burrow far outside Las Vista and has been dealing with other Mute problems, probably other superpowered mutes or maybe some mad scientist. I don’t know just thought this would be interesting
Bonus: If Liam had gotten to hang out with Kipo he would be fully prepared to be the questionable adult supervision and go along with everything kipo says
