Earlier this summer, I ordered some white sage seeds, and I was so excited to try my hand at growing them. They're apparently difficult to germinate, but I tried anyway. A lot of mine actually sprouted and started growing like crazyβor so I thought. After about a month of caring for what I thought were sage seedlings,it turns out, I'm growing some type of Basil (pic #1), an unknown plant (pic #2, can anyone help ID it?), and a bunch of weeds (pic #3, there's an entire planter containing these). Their varying appearances gave it awayβI had three very different plants on my hands, and none of them even resembled sage! π© I spoke to the seed seller about my issue, and he kindly sent me brand new white sage seeds, and he even threw in some Purple Holy Basil seeds for me to grow as well. I took a different approach this time, and planted my seeds in a soilless medium (peat moss) to eliminate any possibility of diseases, insects, or renegade seeds being in the mix. I made a make-shift greenhouse for them as well to try and protect them while they get started outside. All of the cups are labeled with Game of Thrones character names to help me keep track of which ones survive and which ones don'tβ#SageOfThrones is probably a more appropriate name lol. Anyway, send me your good green thumb vibes, I'm really hoping some of these seeds germinate, I would love to have a huge white sage plant in my life! ππΎπΏ -T #HMHQ
