So I have this beautiful memory of my tia’s lentil soup from like 7 years ago in mexico (it was that good), having never tried lentils, it pretty much blew my mind. Recently as a house warming gift, I was gifted an awesome rice cooker/pressure cooker/steamer/crockpot and I’m super amped to use it.                                          - side note - Did you know you can make cake in a crockpot? Lmfao a fucking CAKE.                                          - anyways - Just as I guessed, my dad’s coming down with some sort of cold so Im breaking out the crockpot. I found a lentil vegetable soup online, buuuuuut too lazy to actually buy lentils, and I don’t have the right broth that the recipe calls for. BUT, I’m gonna take a crack at it anyways. So the plan is, exchange the lentils for rice (i know i know, dont start), chicken broth instead of beef broth, and then the veggies (onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, maybe some corn).

Asked this girl at work if she does hair, girl said yes. Continued to tell me how she mainly does hair, that the job we both share is just on the side from her hair business. Asked girl if she would be able to dye my hair. Girl agrees, tells me she’d love to, says she will only charge me $20 because “i’m her girl,” that she usually charges people $45. time comes to do hair at the agreed upon day & time.  girl dodges and ghosts my texts. i am now searching for someone else to do my hair. coworkers.
