Did Annabeth like him when they were younger or was it just Percy that liked her?
i’ve been debating whether to answer this as i’m not sure if it classifies as “spoilers” lmao. but yes, annabeth liked him, too. it’s part of why luke was so jealous when they were kids - he wouldn’t have been so much if he thought percy’s crush was never going to lead anywhere
the fact that annabeth's favorite is Jake and Percy's favorite is Amy is so adorable theyre already goners for each other
i'm so thrilled that you guys actually noticed that!! it was originally going to be a whole Thing where they watched b99 together but it didnt make sense in the chapter, sadly, so i had to cut it down into a throwaway line - but you guys still caught it anyway!
honestly? excited! jake and amy would be great parents and it would be really cool to see the rest of the squad be weirdo aunts/uncles/grandparents (in holt and kevin's case). and of course, boyle's reaction to it. that being said, if it doesn't happen next season, that's fine too! there's no rush for them to have kids and either way i'm excited for the new season 💕

i wouldn’t say luke made annabeth stop hanging out with the others, necessarily. luke was friends with everybody else, too, and percy and luke were notably really good friends as well. i think he just grew very insecure regarding percy-and-annabeth, and that translated into hostility towards him as they got older. they all drifted apart for their own reasons, annabeth and percy included, but yes, luke probably was guilty of nudging annabeth away from percy slightly.
How did you get into writing?
ooh this is an interesting question, for which i have a... very boring answer lmao. i don’t really remember! i was obsessed with reading as a kid (not so much anymore rip) and i used to write lil diaries and made up stories and everything. english was always my favourite subject and baby me was good at spelling/reading etc etc so i guess the next natural step from reading was,,, writing ?? idk if this makes ANY sense lmao but there you have it!!

lmao no i just totally forgot!! honestly it’s not a super important detail. they just kinda... called it off. luke is going through a rough patch (which is obviously still no excuse for mistreating annabeth) and they just decided to take a break. more luke/annabeth info is forthcoming in the next chapters though
