Не знаю, что там за глубины интерпретаций сюжета, но для меня фильм послужил поводом узнать, а что же там, в Сан-Франциско. Потому что герои передвигаются от одной прекрасной локации к другой.
Дворец Почетного легиона, Мост "Золотые ворота", миссия Сан-Хуан Батиста (колокольня в фильме гораздо выше, чем на самом деле, и была врисована в несколько кадров), и особенно меня впечатлил Дворец изящных искусств, построенный в 1915г. как временное сооружение для выставки, и позднее перестроенный в камне.
