          perhaps there’s a part of him that feels relief upon seeing the other, as if a weight ( one that he was unaware of ) has been lifted off his shoulders and he can relax. there’s peace in knowing someone he once cared so deeply for is still walking this earth. 

          but that other part of him, the one he’s done his best to HIDE, is furious. furious at the other for not reaching out, for not attempting to find him sooner. yet, does jasper have any room to talk, when he himself made no move to find his own brother ?? when he made no attempts to locate him, to check on him, at the very least? has he the right to feel any anger, any resentment? has he the right to respond to CRUELLY the second he sees the other enter the room?
