“I—- no, I am not Lulu. This place is just dusty and it got into my eyes” he fakes out a small chuckle and with his back facing his close friend he quickly wipes away the tears, cupping his face for a moment. He sighs softly and turns to face her, and Hyukjae knows best that Luna would never fall into his excuses as she can always see through him. His swollen eyes and the trembling lips tell the whole different story. It wasn’t the dust or the bright sunlight that penetrates his window glass. He didn’t have to say it out loud for Luna to understand. Taking a few steps closer to her, his arms naturally coils around his friend and pulls her into a tight hug.
Luna looked at her friend hiding the tears. The sight broke her heart into millions of pieces. She could see that he was trying to keep himself in check and not cry it was a habit of his. “It’s okay,” she whispered as she felt his arms tightly around her. Wrapping her arms around him, she squeezed him tightly. “Cry, Hyuk, it’s okay to cry,” she murmured rubbing his back soothing his back. The fox was going to find out who made him cry. No one gets away with making Hyukjae cry.
