“Was I?” Hisashi says, cradling Izuku in his arms, the three month old now sleeping after a diaper change. 

“Yeah,” Inko says with a yawn, smiling at him. “Something about your brother, Yuuto.”

Hisashi closes his eyes and tries to remember what he’d been dreaming of. Ah. Yes. 

“I’m trying to sleep,” Inko grumbles. “Your son has been keeping me up all night,” she adds, brushing her hand against her baby bump. At almost eight months, their baby has been very active. 

“You can sleep,” Hisashi says, and the feel of his fingers in her hair is soothing. “Just sleep and relax. I’ve got you.”

She dozes off, ear over his heart. 

But she hadn’t expected this. Becoming a hostage for a villain who’s apparently All Might’s archnemesis is the last thing she’d expected.

The villain has his arm wrapped around her waist and has her pulled tight against him, her back to his front, with his hand carefully pressing against her throat, not hard enough to choke, but certainly hard enough to threaten. 

All Might is helpless in front of her, and she manages to tilt her head up to see the expression on the villain he’d called All For One’s face. 

He’s smirking, and the look is unfairly attractive.

“You know, as fun as this is All Might, I have better things to do,” All For One says, thumb gently stroking the side of Inko’s neck. “So give up, and Miss Midoriya stays safe.”

“Let her go,” All Might orders again, and Inko can tell he’s trying to figure out how to save her before All For One kills her. 

“You’re being annoying,” All For One informs him. “So you know what? We’re going to leave.”

Wait what?

Inko yelps as they suddenly teleport away. 

“My apologies Inko, but I had to improvise,” Hisashi says, pressing a kiss against her head. 

“You’re a supervillain,” she says faintly, slumping back into her fiance’s body. “You’re All Might’s archnemesis.”

“I am,” Hisashi admits. “Does it help, however, that you hadn’t really been in danger the entire time?”

“As long as you let me write the article on this,” she says, and she can practically feel the wince on his face. 

It’s his own fault for becoming part of her next big story.

“I don’t get a say, do I?”

“Yes,” Aoi says, pressing another, lighter kiss against Inko’s cheek. 

“Aoi, he’s blind, he’s not going to see it,” Inko points out, double checking her purse. 

“I know,” Aoi admits. “But I want to make your asshole of a husband know you’ve moved on.”

“I’m pretty sure Hisashi isn’t expecting me to be waiting for him after finding out he’s a super villain,” Inko says a bit dryly. “Especially since he has a life sentence.” 

“Still,” Aoi says with a small pout. 

“I’ll be back soon.” Inko kisses her girlfriend’s cheek, not leaving any lipstick on Aoi. 

He doesn’t plan on taking Tenko to Inko. His plan was to take him to Kurogiri and then leave him with the teleporter, who would raise him to be a successor and pawn. Then he gets the call from Inko. Hinata had fallen off the jungle gym at daycare and broken an arm.

He thinks there’s an expression that fits this; the best plans of mice and men…

Panicking and taking a traumatized Tenko with him was probably not the smartest thing he’s ever done but oh well. As long as Inko doesn’t…

“Hisashi, why do you have a child? Where did you get a child?” Inko asks, quickly striding away from Hinata. Someone had thankfully thought to put a Quirk nullifier around her bed. She’ll definitely set something on fire when they reset her arm.

Tenko buries his face in his shoulder, which really isn’t a surprise. The boy is fairly traumatized after unintentionally killing his father. He’s a bit surprised it hadn’t happened earlier, by the way Tenko had been standing, he wonders if he hadn’t been raising his hands in defense.

“Hello sweetheart, who are you?” Inko says, gently rubbing Tenko’s back.

“There was a villain attack and I found him in the rubble in front of a pile of ash,” Hisashi says. And holding his father’s hand, the only thing that remains of him, he adds silently.

(Sorry about the latest, had a seizure last night and was distracted Monday)

Inko’s back to back with Hisashi, focusing on the surrounding villains, villains who are apparently constantly escaping the so-called ‘Pros’. Endeavor’s humiliating defeat a few days ago from them is going to live on in her dreams as being so satisfying because seriously, for fuck yourself on a cactus Enji.

Hisashi’s fire burns more the trash, and she can’t help but laugh. Because their the ones cleaning this up, making it safer for their son, not the pros. 

The pros are useless. 

The Pros are watching, but Eraserhead isn’t quite sure how to handle it.

“Ummmm...Mom?” Izuku asks, a bit cautiously. “What’s this?” He holds up an old jacket, a familiar jacket. 

“Oh, that was Hisashi’s back when he was at school,” Inko says, not really thinking about the implications. 

“Dad went to UA? Also, why does it say Todoroki?”

Inko sighs. This is probably a conversation she and Hisashi should have had with Izuku several years ago, especially with his fascination with heroes. In a way they’re kind of lucky Izuku decided to obsess over All Might and not Endeavor. 

After all, it’s a bit awkward to deal with your son fanboying over your estranged older brother.
