okay so like. the thing about pit rage To Me is that it takes away jasons agency
"oh he was mad because the lazarus pit-" NO. he was mad because he thought that he would see physical proof of bruces love for him in the form of jokers death. he was mad because bruce was practically his whole world and he wanted irrefutable proof that he meant something to bruce too. he was mad because he was a kid trying to help people and got not only killed but seemingly forgotten- or worse, HATED and VILIFIED for not being some perfect ideal instead of what he was- a kid dealt a bad hand who was still trying his best
jason didnt "come back wrong" jason didnt get so angry because of some magical water jason was hurt because the man he loved and trusted more than anything couldnt show his own love the way jason needed to see it, and he Reacted to his hurt with anger and vengeance and yet he still tried to help people!!! even through his anger!! even when everyone told him he was doing it wrong!!! and that he was a bad seed!! he still reached out to help others and tried to form connections!!!!
