As Hagi has a pretty high dexterity, I think he'll enjoy carving fruits and vegetables. thank you for the idea too, I'll continue to study them further

I think Hagi knows how to act when he met Scotch as in M25 Matsuda knew Hiro and Rei going undercover, but maybe they don't know that much such as what persona their friends are using. So, I came up with this-

Alternate universe, ignores WPS. MPD inter-department office politics.

Morofushi Hiromitsu (based on early Scotch episodes characterization) x Hagiwara Kenji (based on Serial Bomber Case, anime ep 304 characterization). AU where they were not classmates.

"I can't talk to them about it," Hagiwara confesses, with a scowl. He stares vacantly at some distant spot on the horizon, looking more forlorn than Morofushi has ever seen him. "I just -" he cuts himself off abruptly, and the silence sets in for a moment before he breaks it again, "I can't. Not Matsuda. Not Date. And certainly none of my fellow colleagues. But you -" he pauses again, almost helplessly, which is a rare sight from his usually eloquent self.

"Have blood on my hands?" Morofushi offers, voice calm and neutral.

Hagiwara fights a grimace. "That's not quite what I was going to say."

Morofushi arches an eyebrow, a hint of skepticism.

Hagiwara shrugs, suddenly like himself again, if just a little. "Well, obviously I was going to pause awkwardly and not say anything and wait for you to catch the hint by yourself, being observant as you are."

Morofushi rolls his eyes.

They fall into silence again.

Distantly, he can hear the sound of ocean waves.

"So," Morofushi says, evenly. "You want to talk."
