NEW CHAIN ADDING TO THE LEGACY
Growing up in Brooklyn like most of my friends I was raised by a single black woman. Not many male figures around, so my ears were open to hip hop artist. Most people would figure that would lead to a casket or a cell. I listened not to mimic but to learn what no man around was trying to teach. But fast forward to right now to see Snoop Dogg on ESPN because his youngest son Cordell is a top recruit in the nation as a wide receiver heading to UCLA where Sean Combs first born son is a running back! The guys who's music guided a generation with out many male figures has gained another feather in their individual caps. To me this is a big thing you have to remember these guys both made some huge records that changed hip hop and people lives, they both had run ins with the law that would probably break a weak minded man they both bounced back now they may possibly get a chance to watch their sons shine on a grand stage that is in a Ariana separate from their own, not only was it hard work for the parents but for the student athletes them selves good luck to those guys. I hope they both have great college and possibly NFL careers I will be watching Black Excellence has so many meanings. Don't fall for that all we have is sports and entertainment scoff if you enjoy doing something that is positive and you can provide for your family do it, innovate it.
