Started reading a new manga today; LAST GAME. It is so inexplicably cute and entertaining that even though I just started today I’m already desperate for an update…

Without getting into spoilers, the comic is about a boy whose obsession with beating his self perceived rival turns into a ten year crush that is finally starting the yield returns. The boy, Yanagi, is very cute and funny and pursues the aloof Kujou with almost saintly patience and devotion.

I love stories where it’s the boy who is doing the work instead of a desperate girl who is chasing the boy - a lot of stories grow out of this really funny stage of the dynamic (Maid Sama hasn’t really been the same since Usui stopped having to chase Misaki) which is a shame. I don’t wanna say this is my new ‘favourite manga’ because I feel like I say that every week, however, I will be anxiously waiting for an update and posting random pages to the blog.
