HIHI ASH!!! how are you doing!! i was rereading the himerinniki stuff and. i hc that rinne is the one who's the most (demonstratively) affectionate out of the three of them AND that it encourages the other two on that aspect (both receiving and giving <3) sometimes himeru likes to be the cool one and i feel like. rinne would purposely catch his hand when they pass each other in the corridor and himeru just lifts their interwined hands together to kiss the back of rinne's hand all nonchalantly and then walk away while rinne.exe stops working. (himeru is also flustered he's just better at hiding it) and rinne's been clingy with niki way before they started getting feelings but i feel like shortly after they Got Together he would be uncharateristically careful. and niki would be like "rinne-kun get your ass over here you big fucking baby (affectionate)" and sometimes niki watches his cooking shows while rinne acts as a big and warm pillow. nikihime are both trying their best and it's a running joke for them to come by beehive near the end of rinne's shift and himeru goes deadpan, "we were just in the area." he does it every time and the funniest part is that they enter beehive at :00 exactly. it's probably a running joke on the beehive social media acc too

I get it oh my god!!! Rinne being all smooth and overly affectionate until affection is returned and he cannot cope (looks at the time Niki said he could kiss him and he pulled the marriage card). And also Himeru keeping up appearances because he's the "level headed one" while internally probably kicking himself repeatedly because he does not really have a good grasp on what he can and can't do yet and then Rinme freezes over and he's just "shit shit shit I messed up" until he manages to calm down and he's braincells start working again (being vulnerable and showing affection kills his braincells for a bit you cannot possibly tell me someone who is definitely not used to intimacy regardless of how well he can read others would not freak out)
Rinne doing a 180 on Niki fits so well too. It's serious now he's not joking around anymore so suddenly he worries a lot more about what boundaries what are ok because well they're together now things could be misunderstood and it was easier to just let Niki's comments slide when he was half-joking. Meanwhile Niki in the corner screaming internally because "OH MY GOD RINNE YOU DUMBASS".
Jsoskdnd imagine they come by often so much because of reasons the beehive regulars just give them codenames so every once in a while the beehive social media account will post jokes along the lines of "you know it's time for x when [himeru and Niki's nicknames] show up at the door". (I am not good coming up with new names for people forgive me)
