So I read the best supernatural RvB fic this morning and it's been in my head literally all day and I wanted to try something out so 'lo and behold! A supernatural X-Ray and Vav fic!

Ash stealed her nerves.

You can do this, Ash, it’s a once in a lifetime interview, she told herself, repeating it inside her mind almost like a mantra. It’s nothing you can’t handle. You’ve been in this city long enough.

She took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Her pen and pad were already in her hand and it wasn’t long before the door opened.

I’m all over it :D

Who worries about how they will look when they’re older

still X-Ray. He likes to think youth=immortality 

Who makes the mix tapes/cd’s

Ash makes some cute ones for them randomly (Hilda plays them when she’s working and X-Ray listens to them to fall asleep)

Clings to the other during scary movies

‘Fraidy-cat X-Ray

Gets into the shower with the other randomly

Ash seeks out warmth and enjoys showers with her gf/bf

Flashes the other when they walk by after taking a shower alone

probably still X-Ray

Initiates hand holding while the other is driving

X-Ray because he calls shotgun the most

Secretly tries to touch the other in naughty places during public/family events

Ash acts innocent a lot but she can be just as devilish as Hilda when she wants to 

Asks weird questions in the middle of the night

Ash probably asks a lot of meta questions in the middle of the night

Asks “what are you thinking about?”

Hilda is very conscience of her gf and bf’s emotions

Always has to be touching the other

HILDA:

REFUSES TO BELIEVE SHE’S SICK

NO SERIOUSLY, WHEN HILDA GETS SICK, SHE WILL POINT BLANK IGNORE IT 

ASH AND X-RAY ALWAYS NOTICE AND IMMEDIATELY TRY TO GET HER TO TAKE IT EASY BUT HILDA N E V E R LETS THEM

SHE WILL WORK AS NORMAL, SHE WILL GET ORF TO ASSIST HER WITH TASKS

HILDA GIVES NO SHITS WHEN SHE’S NOT WELL BECAUSE HILDA IS DETERMINED TO BEAT THAT DISEASE

X-RAY

COMPLAINING

MY GOD DOES X-RAY COMPLAIN WHEN HE’S ILL

YOU CAN FIND HIM CURLED UP IN A CORNER, SWATHED IN SO MANY  BLANKETS THAT YOU CAN’T EVEN SEE HIS FACE

HE WILL DEMAND SOUP 

ALWAYS

ASH IS ALWAYS THE ONE TO LOOK AFTER HIM

ASH GETS ILL VERY RARELY

IT’S SO RARE IT COULD BE A SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE

SHE HANDLES IT LIKE HILDA DOES: QUIETLY AND DISCREETLY

BUT EVEN WHEN ASH GETS ILL, IT’S ONLY FOR A VERY SHORT TIME SO SHE BOUNCES BACK LIKE NO BODIES BUSINESS

IT’S STILL A NEW SHIP BUT I’LL TRY

usually Hilda’s the middle spoon when they cuddle together but that can change depending on the day

Ash plans the date. Always. 

(Ash-planned dates are the only ones that don’t end in fire)

X-Ray remembers special events the best (anniversaries, birthdays, important work-related events)

Ash remembers details the best (who likes what on their pizza, that favourite quote from that one film, which episode to automatically skip when they’re binge re-watching a show/watching reruns) - it’s her job to remember details like that

Hilda is the only one who can sense when something off with the others. 

She knows when X-Ray’s faking his smile or when Ash comes home super stressed but tried to hide it

(Hilda calls them out immediately and then works out the best way to make them feel better)

Hilda developed feeling for X-Ray first (just because they knew each other first) but when Ash came along, Hilda quickly was infactuated

(and proceeded to have a mini freak out until she learnt the word polyamorous) 

X-Ray and Ash were a bit sceptical of entering a relationship together and it started off as just having a mutual girlfriend (which they found easier to handle)

that is until they started to get on much better

(and realised that oh shit! maybe they did like the other person)
