Now that we’ve been open for a few months, the admin team feels that this is an ideal time to open up the roleplay to second characters. We hope that opening up second characters will allow the different houses and years to become more evenly populated. However, we are putting some limitations in place to ensure that everyone stays even on their first character and that there are no conflicts on interest.
If you wish to pick up a second character, you must adhere to the following rules.
You must be in the roleplay at least two weeks before we will consider giving you a second character.
You cannot play two characters in the same year.
You may not have received an activity warning on your character, unless you have cleared this with the admins due to extenuating circumstances.
You must post an average of 75 or more posts per week on your current character; not including miscellaneous posting such as pictures and music.
You must be engaging in a wide variety of interactions with various characters. If we look at your blog and see you are mostly interacting with the same people repetitively or a ship partner, you will not be granted a second character.
You must not drop an excess of replies, and you must reply to starters frequently.
People who are known to take an excess of extended hiatuses will not be granted second characters. I know real life gets in the way, but those who are busier with real life will probably end up overwhelmed by having two characters.
If you do not post consistently, and tend to only sign on in time to make activity checks, you will not be allowed a second character.
If your activity drops on one character or you seem to have a distinct preference for one of your characters over the other, you will receive a warning and may be asked to drop back down to one character again.
If a role reopens, characters must wait a week to see if new people are interested in the role before applying for that character as their second.
You may not apply for a character who is related to or otherwise connected to your current character.
If you are interested in applying for a second character, please message us for approval before starting work on your application. We would hate to have someone put work into the application but not meet activity requirements. We know some of the rules are a little bit strict, but we just want to ensure that the dash remains the active and open place it currently is.
