More sketching with a black ink background. I'm going to paint this one, and I think I might break the mask. Make it look like shattered glass in some way.🤔 We'll see... I've been painting more things lately, and for some reason, I've managed to not get bogged down with dissatisfaction and have actually been quite excited to paint without expectations. Feels good, and goes to show, as always, that ruts are a passing thing, that most downs will ultimately level out, or even become highs. Sometimes, it's difficult to not spend my time worrying about the next low when I'm up, because I know nothing lasts, but ultimately, I'm only wasting my up time by worrying about lows that haven't happened yet, are unavoidable anyway because life, and will also pass. Everything always changes, it's about treasuring the times that make you appreciate being here. And right now, I'm pretty happy. Admitting that I'm happy is super hard for me, and very anxiety inducing, as sudden trauma in my past has made me feel like admitting to be happy will lead to my world shattering around me, but maybe the first step is for me to admit it, and maybe that'll help me get past that fear. I hope you peeps are well too, and if not, I hope you will be soon. ❤ . . . . . #mask #transparent #graphite #indiaink #blackink #maskart #sketching #illo #instaart #myriamtillson #wip #workinprogress #Prismacolor #mentalhealth #highsandlows #upanddown #surrealart #darkart #darksurrealism #portrait #humanart #humanthings #inmymind https://www.instagram.com/p/BxfjhxPgsbl/?igshid=dt7zrigow0g1
