@highestkingbambi replied to your post: I think the biggest thing missing from season 3 was showing an actual progression from Alice desperately wanting to keep Julia’s magic to being so terribly afraid of it. Everyone else had a big expositional moment to show their growth, but she didn’t. Which meant that when she made the choice to destroy the keys, you’re just like, wtf? Where did that come from. All it would have taken was an additional twenty minutes peppered throughout the season to show her thought process.
i was LITERALLY just wondering if alice destroying the keys happened because the writers always planned that as the conclusion of her arc or because they needed julia to be depowered through remaking the keys and alice was the best choice out of the cast to destroy them. i still think her alliance with the library was handled weirdly. they overplayed their hand with keeping her arc/motivations for the last half of the season in the dark so the audience would question her. which made her destroying the keys both completely WTF and also the least surprising choice out of the cast.

@rahnesinclair and I have become VERY attached to James, and to this threeway. It’s canon now y’all. This definitely happened once or twice (no more than twice, because three times makes it a thing and they weren’t prepared to deal with that). She’s had to deal with me choreographing this smut, because I have never written smut before and how is my first time writing smut a threeway with two dudes??? ...but yes, this threeway will happen eventually, and I’m glad it will please more than just the two of us and our niche interest. (it’s also definitely canon in my soulmates fic, but that might deserve it’s own separate smut...)
