Hungry.
Across from him—

“Danny,” they say carefully, “what did you just do?”
Danny laughs nervously.
“Okay so funny story—remember that giant sky thing I shoved back?”
“Yes.”

The ground shakes.

Something answers.

Too calm.

The hand moves.
The crack widens.
