#high school studyblr

A friend of mine who moved away a few years ago is coming back to visit during the summer, and during that time is staying with a friend of her parents who happens to be a research fellow in the field that i want to go into, at the university that i will be attending in September.

Would it it be totally inappropriate to ask him if i could possibly see what his work is like one day? Or should i just prepare a few questions about working in infectious diseases and hope he offers? Is that too transparent??

Is it even okay to say anything at all given he's already doing my friend's family a favour by allowing her to live with him and his wife for a week (and i've never met him)?

23.10 - I've missed almost of a week of school due to health issues so now i have three assessments to make up and so much studying to do. Dying inside a little but i have a mocha and new highlighters so it's all fine. It's going to be fine.

Bio - made notes on cellular respiration, completed homework + prepared a human sacrifice in gratitude to the amoeba sisters

Maths - made notes, learnt new topic + practice questions

Misc - restarted personal statement (wasn't happy with my introduction)
