Gone back to rewatching some old Chinese shows after watching the Furious... and I realised that I had a type. As in my fav actors wwww
Like what are the odds that all three of these actors happen to also portray a certain Monkey at certain stages of their careers, and their versions of Sun Wukong/Xiaotian are my most favourite?
Like how do you wanna know if I end up liking any other Chinese actors? Just show me if they have ever acted as the Monkey King before, and if I like those portrayals. If I do, chances are that I will most likely end up liking any other roles they did.
[Edit] I just realize that aside from Wukong, all three has also played as Fong Saiyuk. Honestly, I hope one day Xie Miao could play Wong Feihung some day so as to complete the combo of the mutual characters that Jet Li, Dicky Cheung and Xie Miao had played on screen.
Gosh.... this made me wish even more that Xie Miao had played as Wong Feihung in Nan Sheng's 13th Aunt movie, instead of that other guy...
