Either reader is Stone’s only follower and he dotes on his god, or
I kinda prefer this option, but reader who found Stone when he was in search of sanctuary, escaping a war, and restored his temple - in turn bringing orphans, refugees, and lost souls to Stone’s altar, providing them shelter and taking care of them in Stone’s name. Stone loves each and every one of his followers, but holds a deep-seated admiration for his high priest, who was so selfless to resurrect his name and gave each of his charges a safe place to stay.
God!Stone totally has a soft spot for you. It has been years since his temple has been a sanctuary and so he's very thankful for you for restoring it to its glory.
It warms his heart to be reminded that there are mortals who have an abundance of kindness and so he has to hold himself back from giving you any special blessings because he has always told himself he'd be fair with his followers. But he does make sure you feel his light, his approval, shining down on you.
And if you close your eyes and take the time to feel the air and energy around you, you can feel Stone right there beside you as you take care of his followers.
