Hiddlesweek 2022
Since it has already started for me...(I am 5 hour 30 minutes ahead of greenwich meridian time) I thought of being the early bird. Day One: Thursday (3rd February)
Favourite Quote/Interview (tagged as “TH22: Quote”) There are no less than hundreds of Quotes of his that I have calligraphed and framed, but one of them in particular inspires me to get through life, "You keep putting one foot in front of the other and then one day you look back and you have climbed a mountain." Happy Birthday Week Tom! you have not just been my escape from reality, my help through depression but also a source of inspiration💚✨
Hiddles Birthday Week 2020 day 6: How did YOU become a Hiddlestoner?
Hard to say the exact moment, but I think a bell rang in my brain when I saw him bring a soup to the freezing cold journalist during 2012 BAFTA.
I didn’t see this in 2012 tho. I became a Hiddlestoner only in 2018. But it’s never too late right?! :)
Hiddles Birthday Week 2020 day 4: Favourite Costume
Loki’s magnificent armour and glorious horned helmet weared in Avengers’ first movie. I must be honest: I only think of very naughty things seeing that costume. I can’t help it. It’s designed specifically to torture us. And it’s pretty doing a great job.
Besides, he definitely makes the situation worse with that measured, threatening sexy strut:
Honourable mention for TDW / SDCC 2013 variations:
Hiddles Birthday Week 2020 day 3: Favourite Trait
Yes, at first, I certainly fell in love with Loki, and only after I came to know the actor behind better.
And that’s when, as I said before, his kindness, his lovely, bright-eyed look, his polite and gentle manners and his peculiar attention to other people hopelessly enchanted me. I really think there is so much need of more people like him in this world...
Second point, his genuine laughter (with tongue between teeth!) really warms my heart! ❤️

Hiddles Birthday Week day 2: Favourite Role
I’m so lateeee
Although Loki is still the king of my heart, this year I’ll go with the gloomy, tormented Thomas Sharpe.
His melancholic beauty grips my heart, and I always loved gothic stories so much!
How could I resist this look???
Let’s not forget this
Thank you Guillermo.
Hiddles Week Day Two: Favorite Roll
Well, I suppose it’s rather obvious, but:
Shakespeare is my first love, and Tom does it as well as anyone I’ve ever seen. Masculine and vital, yet perfect with the poetry of the language. It’s the role that turned me from a fan into an obsessed fangirl, lol.
Hiddles Birthday Week 2020 day 1: Favourite Quote
Well, since today we got blessed by New Fresh Satisfying Loki Content™, I’ll go with some Tom’s considerations about this beloved character:
“I don’t start the film with him like immediately gone to the dark side. I think it’s good to see that Loki is genuinely Thor’s brother and there is a complicated relationship there. So that it isn’t just like…he isn’t just an out and out villain. He isn’t all black. (…) I think it’s really interesting to see Loki’s actions from his perspective and he’s just someone who becomes more and more damaged by, I think, a sense of isolation from his family and a sense of…it’s kind of a deep loneliness. I think when the world makes you feel rejected, you bite back. And I think over the course of the film that’s what you see in Loki. He feels continually cast out by different sets of people and his brother particularly and at a certain point he’s pushed too far and he comes back with a vengeance.”
