Sorry to bother you, but is Legolas wearing an ace ring in your last post, or is it a wedding band? Either way, your art is beyond lovely, thank you for sharing your work with us!
Never a bother - thank you very much!! I intend them to be wedding rings - the reason why it’s black is because I couldn’t decide on a metal temperature, so I went with a tungsten look cause black goes with everything/tungsten seemed like a very Dwarven choice/I overthink these things way too much.
That being said, I can’t post NSFW on Tumblr anymore so you’re certainly more than welcome to read it as an ace ring if you want! 😊
@hiddenlookingglass very kindly tagged me to answer 17 questions!
Nickname: Usually Mars. Only one (1) man can get away with calling me Marsy. I get some Mars Bars jokes as well.
Zodiac sign: Virgo, unfortunately.
Height: 5’8”
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
Last thing I googled: eighteenth century rings
Song stuck in my head: Babylon by Five Seconds of Summer
Following: 261
Followers: [Redacted]
Amount of sleep I get: 6-8 hours.
Lucky number: 65, my jersey number.
Dream job: Coach.
Wearing: Pajama pants, a t shirt, and a navy blue sweater
Favorite songs: “Go to Sea No More,” specifically the Ian Giles recording, “Northwest Passage” by Stan Rogers, “Leaving of Liverpool,” and “Wild Mountain Thyme”.
Instruments: I used to be able to play a bit of violin, and I’d like to start practicing again.
Random fact: one of my favorite things about living in the UK now is that I can order nachos without fear of being served that horrible neon orange nacho cheese you get in the US.
Aesthetic: Checked linen and scraped knuckles. Hemp rope and a cool, salty breeze. Crisp, bright winter sunlight. Arms thrown around your comrades’ shoulders and unreserved smiles. Clothes that have been worn and mended again. Clear days when you can see for miles. A single brass hoop earring. Muddy knees and bare feet. Barely spending a moment alone. Turquoise and sky blue and bottle green sea glass.
Wow! It's really quite impossible to not fancy the heck out of Combeferre as you draw him! I really love your work ^^
hehehe thank you! Combeferre is a hottie.
Everything you draw is so gorgeous! I hope you find as much joy in making it as you give to those who are watching it. You deserve nothing less.

I know this probably doesn't mean much, but your art really makes me very happy, and every time I see a new post, my heart does a little jump. I hope you feel better soon, and please don't give up?
Thank you dear. The words of support are very helpful, I’m glad my art can make you happy because that’s what I want it to be able to do. And don’t worry, I know I won’t give up. I actually am going to do some drawing tonight so hopefully it goes well. *hug*
What are your thoughts on Tacitus?
I might be in the minority on this one, but I actually really enjoy reading Tacitus. I much prefer Tacitus’ prose compared to others such as Suetonius (which reads more like a gossip magazine).
I like how Tacitus is generally not concerned with seeking causes or analyzing patterns, but rather seeing history as a moral and a practical exercise, recording evil deeds so they can be avoided, and good deeds so they can be imitated. I think Tacitus’ different approach to telling history makes him unique.
Where I think Tacitus excels is his ability as a writer. He is capable of evoking scenes, portraying personalities, depicting battles in just a few lines. I think the combination of Tacitus’s own political experience with his keen literary talent makes him an excellent story teller.
Just like every historian, Tacitus definitely has his flaws, but as a whole, I believe Tacitus is a very effective historian.
Thanks @hiddenlookingglass!! What are your thoughts on Tacitus?
