These Inside-Out Cheeseburgers are a delicious twist on the classic cheeseburger, with the cheese hidden inside the juicy beef patties. Cooking them in an air fryer results in a perfectly cooked burger with a crispy exterior and a gooey, melty cheese center.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Condiments of your choice ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.. Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices optional.
Instructions: Get the air fryer ready by heating it up to 375F 190C. Cut the ground beef into 8 equal pieces. Make a thin patty about 4 inches in diameter out of each piece. On four of the patties, put a slice of cheddar cheese. Place one plain patty on top of each cheese-topped patty. Seal the edges to make a stuffed burger. Add salt and pepper to both sides of the stuffed burgers. Make sure there is space between the burgers when you put them in the air fryer basket. In the air fryer, cook the burgers for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping them over halfway through, or until they're done the way you like them. It's best to toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for one to two minutes until they get a little brown. When the burgers are done, put them together with any condiments you like and any toppings you want, like tomato, lettuce, and onion slices. Let your Inside-Out Cheeseburgers cool down before you eat them.
