“Hi~” The greeting that normally sent flutters of excitement through your heart now sent utter dread to your stomach. Elysia, the girl you love— loved, was caging you into the forest floor with her knees. You could feel her try to subtly shift her hips to press more of her weight onto you, but it didn’t arouse you like the dreams you once had. It sent fear coursing through your limbs as you tried to scramble away from your stalker.
You knew something was wrong with her, Gods that look in her eyes was becoming entrancing. “Pretty girl~ please don’t think of others right now!” You think bile is rising up your throat but it all halts when the sickeningly sweet look morphs into something else, something jealous and hateful. “Pay attention to me, baby!”
That wakes you up, her saccharine, obsessive, dangerously addictive voice, “Elysia, ple-!”
She cocks her head to the side, her lips pulling into a feline grin, “It’s Ely, my pretty girl! You don’t call me,” She visibly braces herself to say it, “Elysia.”

There were so many candles. So many fucking candles on this cake. Elysia held up the melting frosting, vanilla icing slipping off as she eagerly held up the confectionary treat. “Captain! Blow them out!” Her blue eyes shimmered with glee as you took in a deep breath to blow out the candles.

Before you could even open your mouth to answer there was an announcement over the intercom “Captain to starboard!” Elysia hummed in disappointment when you gave her an apologetic look. Her lips were pulled into a pout akin to a kitten in the rain, soft and sad.
Just before she turned to walk away, you grabbed her wrist and spun her towards you and kissed her cheek, “My wish,” you whispered conspiratorially, “is that you keep celebrating with me well into the night.” Oh yes, she liked that wish. It was one she’d happily oblige too.
