Pom pom ball coasters
I was at Art Friend picking up some craft supplies when I stumbled upon this bag of colorful tiny pom poms. I didn't know what I needed these for initially... but hey, at $2.80 I can afford to be a buy-now-think-later kinda gal!
Well, I decided to make a coaster out of them. I love the bright colors and honestly, this wasn't too hard to make.
1. Thread the balls one by one onto a long string.
2. When you think you've strung enough (I used the whole bag), knot the ends and cut the string.
3. Coil the string of pom poms up, trying to keep them as compact as possible.
4. Sew the pom poms together, down the rows, along the sides, etc. The idea is to try and get them as connected as possible, closing up all gaps.
5. And you're done! Enjoy!
