Hello Players! Itâs Spring! Well, itâs been Spring, but itâs never too late for Spring Cleaning! We just have a few matters of business to address that the mods have noticed.Â
Ask Games We love seeing you guys interact, and ask games are a great way to do that! However, weâre seeing a lot of reblogging and close to no sending. We also have observed a few games being reblogged at once. We are by no means going to put an end to games, however we just want to address these issues. Some general rule of thumbs to follow for ask games. 1. You reblog, you send. No exceptions, no excuses until you hit ask limit potentially. 2. Be aware of when games have began and ended. I know it sucks to be late to the party, but we have seen some games be brought back for 2-3 days and if people arenât sending anyway. It clogs the dash. 3. If you donât have time to be sending asks with in the first 5-10 minutes of reblogging the game, itâs probably a good idea to just not do it this time around. Again, we are stressing this because of the dash clogging up and we want to see you guys interact. We have nothing against ask games, as they can be great for making new friends and getting know each other! Or stir up drama, just use them correctly. Activity Some of you may recieve a message from the mods within the next few days, we want to stress that only we will know who gets them and you are not in trouble necessarily. We arenât trying to hound people or act like real life doesnât get in the way, however. We can tell when people are only coming on once to post a couple of things or spam the dash each day or every other. We can tell who isnât interacting with people through posts, sideblogs, etc. This is still consider rolehogging. This a roleplay group, and while we donât expect you to talk with each and every nearly fifty players, we urge and expect players to go beyond their ship partners or same couple of friends. Weâre hoping the upcoming event will help with that. Sideblogs Many of you likely have noticed a lack of activity on the gossip blog, and thatâs because the mods have little to work with. They see the same thing from the same people, or itâs just the same few characters having drama. They want to be able to speak on everyone, be able to make articles, and only you guys can help with that. Please try to update your sideblogs regularly and get some plots going! You can even message the gossip blog and tell them full stories of whatâs going on to be in an article. Send in anything, make up some dirt, tell them how your character feels about another, etc. Sending Anons to The Main We donât post every ask we get, given that we have gotten some that are better left to be discussed privately. We will not post anything potentially sensitive to others or the asker themselves if itâs off anon. We are here to help and make sure everyone is enjoying the game. If you have a concern or question, you are free to IM the mod blog and we will do our best for you and the group. And thatâs it!
