August 20th, 2023 ā 4/100 days of productivity
I finished a paragraph of my thesis!! It's the first one of the second chapter and I think it's the best so far. I have slightly adjusted the method I use for annotating references and it worked wonders. Now I just have to wait for my supervisor to send me the corrections back while I work on the second paragraph ā which I am really excited about because I will give my own interpretation of a poem.
However, I don't want this day to look unrealistic. Yes, finishing that paragraph was satisfying as hell, but it left me exhausted. I never caught a break the entire day, my eyes feel itchy, my back hurts and my brain feels...dry? I don't know how else to describe it. Yep, the 100dop is a nice format to share our progress with cute pictures (just look at how cute my cat looks there!) but ultimately I think we need to share all aspects of our journeys, and that includes tiredness, effort, hard times.
Anyway, that's my little midnight rumbling as I tune in for the night. Hope I don't dream that Scottish bastard tonight.
