how to answer that question? he doesn't speak for a moment, wants to know if there's a way he can get away without answering at all. but jyn is steadfast, stubborn to a fault, and he's not sure he'd be able to dodge this question. might have an easier time dodging a damn bullet then her questions sometimes. what was worth dying for? he'd die for his sister, he'd die for his man, he'd die for just about anyone that asked him nicely sometimes, but tim knows he ain't supposed to say that and it's not what she's asking anyway.
"guess that depends on you." it's a non-answer, he knows, but it's what he's got and even more it's the truth. "people being safer, shit like that, it's worth it for a lot of people. might be a better world if it was worth it to everyone."
