Nan and Clarion are finally coming face to face with the beast that's been haunting Willow's Whisper since their journey began in volume 1..

Nickelodeon’s Upfront last week has been lackluster, but here’s one upcoming series that caught my attention: HexVet! It’s a new preschool series featuring Nat and Clarion, two best friends and magical veterinarians who care for many creatures. It’ll be animated by Blue Zoo, who are also behind another Nickelodeon series It’s Pony, and The Adventures of Paddington for Nick Jr.! 

It’s based on the Hex Vet graphic novels by Sam Davies. While I looked up the books after hearing about Hex Vet, they’re quite different. In fact, the TV series itself (based on the concept art above) looks really different from its source material:

Perhaps this was done because it’s a preschool series. But I haven’t read the books yet though I have ordered them both to check them out -- I don’t know the overall tone of each. However, I do love the look of both the graphic novels and the TV series, so I really don’t mind!
