This is what it looks like when a Hex-Speaker uses Hex Magic.
They convert the power of their own voice into deadly magic that curses living creatures with insanely crippling ailments such as eternally broken limbs, eternally itchy rashes, or horrible impairments like having your head turned backwards or your organs put outside your body. This magic is entirely impossible to avoid, and can only be cured if the Hex-Speaker removes it, or if they’re killed.
It’s terribly powerful and forbidden magic. Hex Pen (in the LMR universe) is currently the only known Hex-Speaker. He was in a dungeon for it, remember? Had a Hannibal Lecter mask on? Now y’know why.
