101- "I love you." Azulaang

Aang watched her peaceful face as she slept. She was so beautiful, she always had been.

He tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear before leaning down and kissing her forehead.

“I love you,” he whispered to her sleeping form. He didn’t have the courage to actually say it to her yet.

Sighing at his cowardice, he laid back on the pillows and closed his eyes. Maybe tomorrow he could say it to her for real.

Little did he know that Azula peeked her eyes open at him. A pretty flush filled her cheeks, and she allowed a small smile to grace her face. She couldn’t say it back yet, but… maybe tomorrow.

silence.
