Historical AU. Regency period. Dr. Levi Ackerman's quiet life becomes interesting when Commander Erwin Smith visits Brighthampton for the summer.

This fic reads like a Jane Austen novel. So much detail to the language, the etiquette and the surroundings but doesn't drag at all. In fact the cliffhangers and the courting leave one breathless. One of my favorites.

Canonverse. Comedy. 5 chapters. Mike POV. Levi. Erwin. Mike has been in love with Erwin for many years and content with their friendship until Levi bursts into their world.

One of my favorite canonverse fics. Often when the Vets are written in a comedy, they're out of character but here they are not. It's like a missing scene from the actual manga or anime. Mike is quiet and restrained until his relationship with Erwin is threatened. Levi is scrappy and cunning. Erwin is brilliant but a total idiot. Hange the shipper is perfect.

Mike and Levi battle over Erwin like they're college rivals, Mike the head of the cheerleading squad and Levi the punk/goth freshman. Both pining and fighting over the school hero, football captian and Fulbright scholar Erwin.
