He can't help the cackle that peels out of him, watching the other fumble with the controls in front of him. This guy clearly isn't cut out for ENCOY if figuring out the transit is too hard for him! If he was kinder, he'd think about directing him to an elevator or even stairs rather than trying to figure out a Bee; unfortunately for him, kind and Bill Cipher don't belong in the same paragraph, let alone sentence. Besides, it's far too entertaining to sit and watch.

Kidnapping aside it was nice of the Mage or whatever his name is to give them a house, Rook thinks. She would've more so expected to be thrown in a jail cell or kept in a basement or something, so this is for sure an upgrade in just about every regard. It's one of those fancy houses, too, like you see in the rich human area of big cities. She's not going to be charged for this, is she? No way she can afford it.

Rook spends a while just standing on the sidewalk in front of it admiring the building before finally going in and almost running smack-dab to the man standing just through the entryway.

Thank you for completing your paperwork in a timely manner! Now, let's see here…

The eccentric figure takes back the clipboard and reads through your answers carefully, polite interest in his expression as he nods.

"If you think about it hard enough, wouldn't the ability to heal anyone with a touch make a functioning human eye, cancelling out your first answer? When he'd sought to escape the ever watchful eyes of the Pines, he hadn't had an exact goal in mind. Outside of somewhere away and difficult to track down, of course. One of his first options is running as far as this meat sacks legs can carry him and committing some good old fashioned breaking and entering. It won't exactly save him - sure, the Pines did have more morals then him, but that meant nothing when it came to the law - but it was something!

Although, there might be a new problem, considering the telltale creak of a door opening. He turns instantly, briefly looking like a deer in the headlights. He forces himself to calm however, readjusting the mask he'd perfected so much over his lifetime and falling back on the defense mechanism he knew best.

There's a hum, looking over the scene he's managed to stumble upon with an appraising look. Most people might be horrified at the sight of a body half dug out of a grave, but thankfully he wasn't most, and he wasn't people either. If anything, this was the most interesting thing that's happened to him all week!
