Sterotypes
Sometimes…sometimes it’s so hard to fight this seemingly losing battle about reptile, specifically snake stereotypes.
I don’t mind it until people start ignoring the facts and start making personal insults and attacks..
Like, I’m cool with your opinion. I don’t mind hearing your reasons. But insults.. This I won’t tolerate.
The reptile community is NOT crazy. Or stupid. Or full of ‘fucking convoluted kids’. What we are is full of disappoint to your close minded opinions and inability to listen to reason.
I gave Smaug some sweet peppers, carrots, and banana for a treat (this is a once every 3 or 4 month thing)…
Her response was less than excited. :/
Crouching kitty, hidden snoot... Noodle nose!! :3

Petstore trip!!
Just got home from my weekly petsmart trip! I took Avalon and Helix today... I love educating people, especially kids about snakes. It absolutely appalls me that people think that they are slimy and gross... Ignorance makes me sad. Kids love to touch their belly scales and watch their muscles work. And they're amazed at how smooth and soft my snakes are... And how nice and calm they are! It makes me happy to share them with other people. It also makes me happy that some of them might be future Herpers!! <3
