“Can you believe how many presents are under that tree?” They were all still at school, given special permission by Fairy Godmother to stay a little longer than the other students over Christmas break. “Bet I can guess what’s in ‘em better than you can.”

     “My bad.” Crooked and awkward smile as she shrugs her shoulders, putting her hands in the pockets of her worn pants. “I thought it was what you’re supposed to do? But if you don’t care then whatever.” Colette rolls her eyes, here sh was actually bothering trying to do the “polite” thing and it hadn’t even mattered.
