He wasn't supposed to be at work for once. It was his day off and he'd planned to spend it Christmas shopping. Funny how things never work out how he'd planned them the day before. Being woken up at seven in the morning by a phone call from one very sick sounding cafe owner was definitely not planned. But he owed the woman a lot and the cafe needed someone to run it between shifts, so he'd shown up with... minimal complaints. And a lot of trying to find pants.
It was one of those between shift moments when he was remembering why he appreciated the usual presence of his boss so much. Dishes piled up fast apparently when there wasn't someone washing them at regular intervals. Grumbling about needing more coffee but not having any cups left, he didn't hear the jingle of bells above the front door that usually alerted him to new comers. Â
Ω?
[ Of course I do! Here's a few as of now. ephemeral-death , skyloftslink, thewinterspirit, darkgnawingxheart, heroicsecondwind, soranoodle, amplexusventus,  xiii-roxas, xiv-xion, and theneverfadinglight. ]Â
Me: I really want to do this thing, but I'm not good at it...
Normal People: Oh, just practice! You can only improve right? I'm sure you're better than you think!
Heroicsecondwind: Well you're going to need to kill someone who IS good at it, and harvest their powers. It's the only way.

Alright, so this is the last week, plus next Monday, of the semester. Which means finals to cram for and vacation homes to finish designing. Yay....
I've got replies drafted for blue-eyedkidd, soranoodle and thebeautifullytragicone.
And I owe three greetings: heroicsecondwind, nullumnomen, axelburnbabyburn. Hi there sorry about the wait but thanks for the follows!
My RP list is up to date if ya wanna check.Â
I'll probably stick to the smaller replies and reading fanfics for the week, but I'll definitely be lurking like always either here or on my personal and once this week is out I'll get everything back on track.
//rolls away to face the last week before freedom

Isa spotted a familiar mop of spiky blonde hair and smiled.Â
"Roxas!" he called out to the teen, heading his way. But-- huh, he wasn't wearing his Organization coat. And when Isa got closer, he realized there were subtle differences in the boy's face. He paused, frowning.
"You're not..." Isa tilted his head, a memory teasing at the back of his mind. But it must just be the resemblance to the young Nobody he knew.
"...I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else," he apologized. "Are you new here?"
