"I didn't mean to break it!" - from james, tony's son (pre civil war) @heroicmultitude
Steve knelt down next to the young boy and examined the broken vase. "Hey, buddy, it's okay. I'm sure it was just an accident." He noticed the baseball near the broken shards of pottery and then smiled softly at Tony's son. "I'm not really sure your dad like this vase much anyhow, but we can try to glue it back together if you're worried about it."
Steve doubted that the vase had any sentimental value to Tony but he also didn't want him to be mad because James had broken something because he was playing ball inside. There wasn't really much for little kids to do. There wasn't even any other kids to play with. Steve felt bad for James. Reaching up, he ruffled his hand through the boy's hair. "So you wanna glue it or should we just toss it and go to the kitchen to get some ice cream?"
