Steve knelt down next to the young boy and examined the broken vase. "Hey, buddy, it's okay. I'm sure it was just an accident." He noticed the baseball near the broken shards of pottery and then smiled softly at Tony's son. "I'm not really sure your dad like this vase much anyhow, but we can try to glue it back together if you're worried about it."

"You are?" Steve couldn't be happier to hear those words from his best friend. "I hope permanently?" Bucky had been popping into the Avengers compound now again, staying from anywhere to a couple of days to a week, only to disappear again for months at a time. He would go so off the grid that Steve wasn't even able to track him down.

"I would really like that and I know Ana would, too." Steve had been more or less taking care of Bucky's daughter while he went off and did whatever he was doing. Steve loved the girl and she was probably the closest thing he'd ever get to having his own daughter, but he also knew that Ana needed her real father.

"...If you're going through something that makes you feel like you need to leave all the time" He placed his hand on Bucky's shoulder. "You know I'm here for you. I'll help you work out whatever it is."

"Is it showing that much?" Steve looked up at Tony before pulling open the kitchen cabinet and taking a bowl off the top shelf. It was only 9am and today was starting off terribly. He didn't even want to talk about it but knew Tony would keep pestering him until he spilled all the details. He walked over to coffee pot and huffed. "No more coffee?" He said, shaking the empty pot. He could feel Tony's eyes following him around the kitchen as he walked get a new bag of beans to brew. "Okay -- I know you're going to keep asking me what's wrong and while I really don't want to tell you I know you're going to not stop. So here it is..." Steve dumped some beans into the coffee grinder and started it up. "I woke up this morning to a text from Jillian." Jillian had been a girl he was seeing for the last month. A girl whom he thought he had a really good connection with. "And, well, she dumped me." But apparently Jillian didn't think she had a good connection with him.

Steve poured the grounds into the coffeemaker and flipped the switch. "She said that I'm hardly around and how she needed her boyfriend to me more attentive to her..." He looked at Tony. "So there's that."

"What?" Steve was caught off guard by Nat's question. His eyebrow quirked up and a small chuckle fell from his lips. "Why?" What was she planning on putting in his hands? The thought worried him because even though Nat looked all business all the time, she secretly didn't mind to pull a prank here and there and Steve was a perfect target.

"Alright..." he said with a bit of reluctance in his voice as he cupped his hands and slowly held them out in front of him. Steve closed his eyes "Just promise me whatever it is that it won't be slimy."

"GOOD!" The hail of bullets around them hadn't been letting up and he had been out of ammo long enough to have had to improvise with a crowbar, as well as a few bricks. At that point, he was just glad to see that his daughter was alive. The fact that she had also managed to get ahold of a weapon was just gravy. He got closer to Ana so he didn't have to shout as loudly. Bucky looked over and saw a small alley to duck into. "C'mon," he urged her, gesturing for her to follow with a tilt of his head before walking, "watch my 6, I'll clear the way..." What that meant, he wouldn't know until they ran into something to clear.

Loki brushes her hair out from her face and smirks pointedly at Stephen Strange. "Ha! The boredom of a petty second rate sorcerer from Midgard doesn't interest me." Loki begins to walk away and then turns around hurries back to the doctor. "HOWEVER! IF I did 'Attempt' to do anything to you, then you WILL know it and you definitely won't be bored" Loki grins mischievously looking at strange and raising an eyebrow inquisitively. "Unless your wish is for me to 'entertain' you. THEN I happily accept the task" Loki takes a dramatic step back and throws her arms out to either side of her in a showman's invitation awaiting Stephen Strange's response.

Q wasn’t used to hearing people walk into Q-Branch past 21:00, and yet he paused his typing as the sound of footsteps reached him. The kind of footsteps he was used to from agents - where the person knew they could be silent but were being polite enough not to give you a heart attack by appearing silently.

He locked his computer, gently spinning the chair to look at the woman with curious eyes.

“M did inform me that we would be having a guest but for some reason I wasn’t expecting you.” He noted, he’d never met Natasha before but he knew who she was. The Quartermaster considered for a moment, not entirely up on the whole hosting thing but if M was out then Q was technically the second in command here.
