How do you handle a hero with a ‘quicksave’ ability? He’s driving me nuts, and it’s kinda embarrassing to have to go to a senior demoness but I’d rather be an embarrassed impgirl than a dead impgirl, you know how it is
Bonus points if we can forcefem him instead of merely defeating him but at this point I’ll take what I can get
Those are the peskiest types of heroes! You did good to ask for help, there is no straightforward way to handle that kind of ability
You can't brute force past a quicksave, even if you manage to one-shot them before they can reload, these kinds of time manipulation abilities often have failsafes that automatically send them back upon death
What you need to do is make them forget how to use the ability in the first place! I usually go for a mindbreak spell, but those require an insane amount of magical power to cast I recommend a targeted memory loss spell to make them specifically forget how to use the quicksaves and reloads!
