through the haze of drugs , drifting in and out of sleep , bellamy is dimly aware of a constant gentle , steady pressure around his fingers that signifies he isn’t alone. he isn’t sure what’s happened , only that his leg aches fiercely ( the painkillers don’t seem to be enough , but his tongue is leaden and he can’t wake up enough to tell them that ) and he can’t focus through whatever they have him on. he tries to open his eyes , falls back asleep most of the time before he can get close.
he doesn’t know how long it’s been when at last he’s drawn from the murkiness of sleep by lights , beeping , a voice somewhere to his left — no , two voices , one of which he recognizes , the other he doesn’t. the pressure is gone from his fingers , causing a dull , vague panic to stir in the pit of his stomach , and he turns his head against flat pillows , brows drawing together as he tries to murmur john’s name , the word coming out thick and slurred , heavy and uncoordinated fingers grasping blindly for him.
nearly at once the pressure is back , warm digits wrapping around his own and drawing them upward. he feels the scratch of slightly damp stubble ( tear tracks? has john been crying? ) against his palm , soft lips a beat later , and then his hand is cradled once more against john’s cheek. his eyes still won’t open , but bellamy would know that face anywhere. a soft , garbled sigh as fingers grow lax against his lover’s face and he tries to smile in john’s direction , content now to drift back into his dreams.

Every instinct says don't do it. Says stay here, back pressed against the tree where at least no one can sneak up behind her, and just pray no one sees her. Freeze. That's the instinct. Freeze and hopefully vanish. But he's telling her to keep going, keep running, to hold onto his hand and let him get them out of here and if there's one instinct that overcomes the fear, it's faith. Faith in him, faith in them, faith in his instincts over hers. Her hand is shaking as it reaches for him but it finds his all the same, grasping it like a lifeline as she pushes off her hiding spot.

"It's nothing." She tries to redistribute her weight, tries to hide the blood-soaked pant leg from his view but it doesn't really work. He's seen it and there's no hiding it now and she gives up when the movement of her leg makes her wince. "I must've ripped open the stitches again." She holds a hand out, knowing he'll come close enough to let her brace herself on him as she lowers herself to the ground. "Its fine, it happens all the time, I just need a second- it'll stop and we can keep going."

“Murph!” He called as loudly as he dared, making distressed noises until the other man showed up in the room to see Louis with the crying one year old in his arms. “She’s in a ‘I hate dad 1’ mood today.” He said by way of explanation, his expression pleading with Murphy to take her even as he already handed her out to the other. “Maybe dad 2 will have better luck.” He said. “And dad 1 can make us some freakin’ food finally.”

Ooooh man. Okay I’m just gonna go down the list but be warned as most are OC or very minor canons I don’t have many notps because even potentially toxic relationships I’d love to delve into because I’m dark like that
Louis: No big notp’s mostly I just like to constantly remind people that he’s not a relationship person as a general rule. So unless there’s been plotting about relationships or love or anything, it is NOT a consideration in his mind and I don’t want muns or their muses caught off guard by that.
Mbege: Again no big notps, I’m pretty open to exploring anything. I think general age-difference hard stops are about the only time I’d call a notp, if an age difference is too big.
Gina: I’d say Gina and any of the delinquents (excluding Raven who is kind of a gray area where the label “delinquent” is concerned). She’d just be uncomfy with the age difference.
Circe: No notps and honestly the more toxic the better. I love torturing my girl, it’s how I show my favoritism.
Emori: idk honestly. Part of me wants to explore Raven/Emori and part of me wants to notp it because of Raven and John’s past bc I don’t think Emori would want to explore romantic or sexual relations with someone he has such a bad past with. But then on the other hand she already got close to Raven despite this and kinda abandoned John on the ring so like who knows maybe I’m wrong. Same with Bellamy. So it’s up in the air for E.
Styxx: No incest. HARD line at incest. I know, seems a weird thing to specify but if you knew his canon past it wouldn’t seem so weird >.>
which muse is the trickiest to get into character for?

Styxx and Emori. Both are canon characters, and mains at that, so there’s just so much behind their development and so much behind how and why they aer how they are. I constantly question myself, especially with Styxx as I play him in a verse different from his canon, and Emori as I’m still searching out her voice.
Lou’s incredibly easy, I’ve never had issues writing Louis. Mbege and Gina are pretty easy, both are similar enough to me in small ways that I can find them easily. Circe’s an extension of my brain by now, she and Fox are undoubtedly the easiest to write for me no matter the situation or verse. I always know who they are and what they’d do and why they’d do it.
