Huehuehue, I’ve gotten that question a lot, actually~

Here’s a little synopsis for Lily’s character (<—link: leaving out some important points from her story, of course)

Bascially, she started off with Lockdown, becoming his own personal weapons designer. They grew fond of one another, and things grew from that.

But after an attack by a rival crew of hunters, Lily was jettisoned from their ship and thought off-lined. However, she survives and begins a new life, “joining” the crew of the Lost Light. (she squirreled her way aboard and was found out by none other than Rung).
