MEET SIAN GRIMALDI: THE WRATHFUL PRODIGY

One that could bind the world, or burn it to ash. It had been centuries since the last prophecy was aired and this time Mikael made sure it was his to control. But one thing he did not expect, was a child whose powers could dethrone his own. Sian was stolen like a broodmare, raised as a soldier and pawn for a House she held no claim to. Her own true bloodline remains obscure. A girl taken out of madness, and she turned it into malice. A true leader in her own right, she abandoned the man she once called father and created her own circle of loyal followers all burned by magic in some way shape or form. They call themselves the Se7en, the deadly sinners, the Cardinal Coven. And with Sian as their Priestess and a Wrath that can match the gods, theyâll show the world just how ruthless a cautionary tale can be.
MEET SAMARA BHATTI: THE ANGEL OF DEATH

And she wants nothing of it. Being a witch in the new millennium has led to past deeds being unearthed. The world is changing, new affairs being put into order, and Samara wonât sit around and let her familyâs bloody history drag her down as well. So, she defected. Renounced the Bhatti throne.Though she wonât admit the true fear she feels of The Conclave possibly coming for her next. Pride has always been her Achilleâs heel, especially with an uncontainable magic that runs through her veins. The ideal of normality has haunted her being ever since she can remember. Weekends spent studying Ancient Law, Magical Origins, and the Language of Dust and Brimming Stars has led to Samara being one of the smartest and brightest witches in her generation. Because hereâs the thing, although the semblance of mortality plagues her, it doesnât stop her from being the best. If Samara has to be a witch, then sheâll be the prime witch the world has ever seen. Her competitive spirit and brutal nature are what led her to join the Cardinal Coven in the first place. As Sianâs second-in-command, she holds massive authority and sway over her fellow coven mates. For right now she enjoys where she is, she holds pride in being apart of a group of witches no one has ever dared to dream. But who knows, maybe her skill set is better honed for priestess, a queen, a ruler to bow before.
MEET KASTAR DISCURI: THE YIN OF THE GEMINI
They say that a Gemini is born once every millennium. A witch, with a shared soul in two bodies. They can either be great or flawed. Kastar and her twin Phollux aka âLuxâ were considered flawed. It became apparent at a very young age that the twins could not generate any magic on their own, as they always had to maintain physical contact to do so. Witch culture states that any witch with this deficiency is to be shunned. âThey cause more harm than good,â is what they whisper, since twins become so reliant on either other it often turns dependent and deadly. Embarrassed by the magical abominations they created, Mr. and Mrs. Discuri did what any logical parent would do: they attempted to drown them. Emphasis on attempted. The night of the act, Kastar heard whispers in the shadows. A phenomenon she could not explain, all she knew was to run to her twinsâ room and prepare for the inevitable. Being toddlers didnât stop them from understanding the harsh reality. So, the shadows whispered something else to Kastar that night. A word, with the incentive and workings of the devil. And when the door creaked open, with two strangers masked as loving parents staring down at their wide-eyed legacies, the twins whispered that word in joint harmony. âIncendiâ. The screams of agony as hell-fire ripped and clawed at their parentsâ skin prompted no feeling within them. If anything it instilled a dangerous psyche. Ever since theyâve been on their own, fighting to control a magic that erupts when theyâre too close but too desperate to be separated for any period of time. Things got better when they were one day approached by two brunette goddesses. Wrath and Pride shone in their eyes, and the twins reflected an Envy that was too dangerous to be contained. A few tests and bribes later, and the twins were inducted into the Magisterium, to the chagrin of a lot of witch bigots. The Cardinal Coven became their new home. There the twins learned of their ability to contact the Other Side, a plain for the dead and the demonized. Lux is sensitive to the spirits of the blessed death, those protected under the Sun God, whereas Kastar is visited by the souls of the tortured dead. Those who have transformed into something all the more sinister under the Moon Goddess. Kastarâs pearly skin and sweet disposition say one thing, but this Gemini has eyes which see the evil of the world. And sheâs not ashamed to seek retribution with flame.
