There weren’t many things that could be compared to the enthusiasm Luca displayed upon walking into the Gala. As it was his first time being able to actually dress up and attend instead of getting hired on to work one of the private bars in the ballroom, he couldn’t seem to soak in the sight of the place fast enough. The chandeliers twinkled and the banners draped across railing and banisters so elegantly he had to keep reminding himself that he wasn’t looking at some detailed painting or tapestry. “This is awesome!” he exclaimed, stopping next to another person who was lingering just inside the doors, either waiting for their date or just a familiar face to attached themselves to and explore with. “You look so great! Wow, everyone looks great. I feel like I’m friends with Jay Gatsby.”
