Time for one of our new families, the Herdhers! 

I started the family out with 6 heifers and one bull. By Day two, 3 of the heifers became pregnant, by the third day the other 3 were knocked up as well. I cheat the gestation period by A LOT (down to 2 days from whenever they become pregnant) because I want my people working with livestock to have much more to do...so now that we’ve got some calves in the game, I’m having the Herdhers start to collect milk for future cheese-making. 

Day one at the Herdher’s begins with some morbidity (too early for death, Maria!) and getting the small garden plot planted. Not much else to do until the cows start giving birth. 

First trip to the Green to collect some water and was a good opportunity to meet some of the neighbors. Millicent is a Family sim and is looking to get hitched ASAP. She’s officially on the hunt! Now we just need to find someone class-appropriate for her! 

These two seem to reeeeally like each other and I approve wholeheartedly! Combining households might be the answer to Hermann’s financial problems and I kinda like the idea of a “milk and honey” farm. He’s also a yeoman so I’d be able to maintain my social trajectory for Millicent :)

We’re a little late in the season for weddings or anything but I think that we’ll see how it goes and the next time we play the Hunigs, we may have some fun in store :)

She keeps running across these peasant boys, but I might be willing to make an exception for her if she finds someone she really likes. Josef is no longer an heir and he’s a Family sim, like her, so they might be a perfect match!
