All the gods of Olympus were gathered in front of Zeus and Hera, enjoying the congratulation ceremony of the birth of their newborn son, Takashi.
Hermes flew over with a bouquet of flowers, “Yea, you know, I had Orpheus do the arrangements, isn’t that nutty? Fabulous party, you know, I haven’t seen this much love in one room since Narcissus discovered himself.”
Hera laughed at the joke, turning around to see one of Zeus’s lightning bolts in Takashi’s hand, “Honey, keep those away from the baby. He could get himself hurt.”
“Oh, he won’t hurt himself. Let the kid have a little fun.” Zeus said as Takashi put the lightning bolt into his mouth and electrocuted himself with it, “Okay, maybe he won’t hurt himself too badly.”
Zeus chuckled and turned towards the crowd, bellowing out a speech, “On behalf of my son, I want to thank you all for your wonderful gifts!”
Hera rested her hand on her husband’s shoulder, “Dear, what about our gift?”
The god looked around at the clouds, “Well, let’s see here, I’ll use some cirrus, a little nimbostratus, and a dash of cumulus.” Zeus pulled some of the cloud into his hand, creating the shadow of something. It looked like a tiny horse with wings. Zeus brought the shadow of cloud to life and Takashi giggled with delight, scooping up the small horse in his arms.
Zeus smiled at the sight, “His name is Pegasus, and he’s all yours, son.”
Right in that moment, Hades strutted in, clapping sarcastically, “How sentimental. It’s beautiful, really. I haven’t been this choked up since I got a hunk of moussaka caught in my throat!” He rolled his eyes and continued walking towards the crib where Takashi was laying.
Hi I’ll continue this at some point, just not right now lmao. Tell me if you like it so far, though, and tell me to continue it if you wanna read more so I have more motivation to do it lol.
